About Kim and Taylor
Meet Kim and Taylor, the founders of From Scratch Farm. Their story began in 2017 when they fell in love and decided to build a life together. Even though neither of them grew up on a farm, they both dreamed of living close to nature, running a family business, and having exciting adventures every day.
After getting married in 2018, they made the big decision. They sold their house in the suburbs and bought a farm in the country and never looked back.
Why farming? The simple answer is we believe food is the foundation of life and there is no greater privilege than providing it to your family. We farm in a way that honors the animals, plants and soil that feed us and will preserve them for generations to come. We do not use synthetic chemical fertilizers or pesticides and know anything worth doing is worth doing the right way.
Kim is the heart and soul of From Scratch Farm. With her gentle touch and kind spirit, she's like a real-life animal whisperer, nurturing our furry and feathered friends with boundless love and care. At the bustling markets, she's the radiant face of our farm, captivating visitors with her warm smile and infectious enthusiasm for all things farm-fresh. Behind the scenes, Kim is the glue that keeps our farm life running smoothly, tending to every detail with grace and dedication.
